Details
A limited edition release of 1300 bottles at 54.8% ABV. A marriage of four casks 16/855, 17/812, 17/813, 17/814, filled into first fill ex-bourbon casks for a minimum of three years and four months before being moved into Hungarian Tokaji Casks for an extended secondary maturation of three years and six months.
Bottled on the 3rd of June 2024, this is a rich, tropical and fruity single malt with notes of mango, oranges, dried apricots, cashew nuts, manuka honey, and nutmeg spice.
Glasgow Distillery love using Tokaji casks due to the rich tropical fruit and honey influence this maturation provides. This is a fully unpeated release, with vanilla and butterscotch notes gained from initial maturation in bourbon casks, and intensely thick and rich fruity characteristics from the Tokaji finish.
