Star fruit, gingerbread and yellow chartreuse
Details
Finished in a Sauternes cask that Little Brown Dog personally imported direct from France. Only 400 real Sauternes casks are allowed to be sold each year, many "Sauternes" casks are in fact knackered old red wine casks, lasered and pressure washed with sweet wine. The only way they could be sure to get the correct casks was to deal directly with the source.
A delicate distillate like Glen Elgin deserves a careful touch and the finish just elevates it without being too heavy handed. Beautiful texture from this as well. Label depicts vines at sunset.
One of only 267 bottles produced.
