Glen Moray Centenary Port Wood Finish

To celebrate its 100th anniversary, Glen Moray Distillery produced this very special limited edition. Four casks of Glen Moray - one each from the vintage years of 1976 through to 1979 - were carefully selected and allowed to mature in ex-bourbon oak casks for seven years before being re-racked in port wood for a remaining ten long years. The port wood, from the Douro valley in Portugal helps create a smooth, well-rounded malt of outstanding taste and value, the port wine giving it a distinguished rich ruby blush.
