The Tasting Notes
Nose
Salted Butterscotch, preserved lemons, ginger tea, elderflower and apricot jam. Touches of Mace? and/or cloves. Lots of coastal minerality and the smallest hint of chimney soot!
Palate
The Salty-Creamy Flavour continues, with a hint of maltiness that is almost caramelised. More minerals – salt and slate. A very nice mouthfeel with fruits, soot and citrus peel.
Finish
Long and salty – the malt and citrus give lots of length.
