This bottling of Glenburgie was distilled in 1966 and matured in 1st fill Sherry Hogshead. Bottled 2014 for part of the Rare Vintage series of the independent bottler Gordon and MacPhail.
Tasting notes:
Colour - Golden Amber
Nose - Delicate sweet sherry aromas emerge with hints of ripe peach and apricot.
Palate - Hints of fresh raspberry with dark chocolate with a lingering touch of mint.
Body - Medium.
Cask type - First fill sherry butt.
Distilled at Glenburgie Distillery and bottled by Gordon and MacPhail - Elgin - Scotland
