Initial profile of freshly roasted coffee beans and treacle tart character.
This is succeeded with baked apples smothered in brown sugar. Brilliiant structure with no dominant force with plenty of depth and length.

A very limited edition and stunning release of this 1968 GlenDronach. Matured for 44 years in Oloroso Sherry Butt No.005 and bottled in 2012. Meaning "carefully sought out" Recherche was limited to just 632 bottles worldwide, this example being No. 121.
