Tasting notes...
Nose - Sumptuous, rich sherry notes laden with prune juice lead to a dark Muscovado sugar laced with waves of expresso, orange bitters and delicate hints of garden mint.
Palate - An initial sour plum crispness is backed by dark cocoa nibs warmed with touches of peppery oak, giving a classic, robust sherried depth. Maraschino cherries, roasted coffee beans, vibrant cedar wood and a deep stewed barley back note perfectly represent the traditional Highland character.
