GlenDronach Cask Strength Batch 5

Following on from their successful Batch 1, 2, 3 and 4 Cask Strength Releases, GlenDronach have done it again with batch 5.

The multi award winning Distillery have produced this batch 5 that has an appearance of rich amber edged with gold.
On the nose - A perfect combination of sweet golden sultanas and rich fig syrup holds a contrasting warmth of ground almonds, orange bitters and a gentle dusting of black pepper.
On the palate - Demerara sugar glazed dark fruits lighten to apricot syrup infused with stem ginger and vanilla. Crisp candied peel and gentle cigar box spices combined with mellow notes of freshly mashed barley add great complexity to the long, classic palate.
The finish - The combination of elegant sherry influences and robust Highland style creates a perfect example of the traditional GlenDronach character.

Release size - circa 17540 bottles worldwide.

Matured in a combination of the finest PX and Oloroso Sherry casks.
