In 1886 William Grant set out to create the 'best dram in the valley'. Within a year he had built his distillery in The Glen of Fiddich, Gaelic for The Valley of the Deer. The first spirit flowed on Christmas Day 1887. Four generations later the 'best dram in the valley' is still flowing. This signature malt develops complex rounded flavours with elegant notes of fresh pear and subtle oak.
