A stunning release from Glenfiddich, the Malt Master's Edition.
Brian Kinsman the Glenfiddich Malt Master, he marries different aged whisky into two types of oak casks, the first Glenfiddich to be double matured in two different casks.
After maturing in traditional oak casks for a number of years, the spirit is transferred to Sherry Casks for the final years of maturation.
Each batch is unique, imparting complex flavours from the different woods involved.
Upon opening the bottle, all I can smell is lovely rich wedding cake!
Silky and smooth Glenfiddich - fabulous.
