Richly oily, coastal, waxy, spicy and satisfying. Lots of sandalwood, camphor, pollen, sea air, mineral oil, strop leather and crystallised fruits.
Honey infused with spices, vibes of cask-aged mead and old Drambuie. Also drier aspects such as pollens, mineral salts, grassy olive oil and camphor. Big, waxy texture and lovely natural sweetness.
Long, peppery, oily, waxy and with herbal teas and mead.

This small batch Glenglassaugh 8 Year Old from Decadent Drams proves that age isn't everything. Matured in an unusually active refill hogshead, it has developed an exceptional level of richness and complexity rarely seen in such a youthful whisky.
Despite its eight years in cask, the whisky delivers layers of honeyed malt, soft orchard fruits, vanilla cream and warming spice, wrapped in a texture that belies its age. The refill oak has imparted remarkable character while allowing Glenglassaugh's bright, coastal distillery style to remain at the forefront.
Bottled at 57.1% ABV—the traditional 100 Proof—this is a bold yet beautifully balanced Highland single malt with plenty of depth and personality.
