Glenrothes 1992 Grahams Port Cask #13

Matured for 23 years a limted edition of only 216 bottles.

With more than three centuries of experience, Berry Bros. & Rudd, owner of The Glenrothes, has long-standing relationships with some of the world’s leading wine producers; it seemed only natural to draw on these to create our truly remarkable range of whiskies – The Glenrothes Wine Merchant’s Collection.

Having spent more than two decades in American oak, the Wine Merchant’s Collection whiskies have then been “finished” by introducing them into casks which formerly held some of the world’s most coveted wines.

This particular whisky was distilled in 1992, and matured until 2014 in Hogshead casks. Having rested in these casks, we then introduced it into a hogshead Port cask from Graham’s, one of the best-known Port producers, to add an extra layer of complexity to the spirit.

Appearance: Clear and bright
Bouquet: Cerise, well balanced winey notes with rich honey apple
Palate: Fruity compote, sultanas wrapped in a silky vanilla mouth-feel
Finish: Good balance and spicy finish

Distilled at Glenrothes Distillery
