This Glenrothes is a wee sherry bomb that's been hiding away for a wee while, a 2004 vintage and aged for 15 years before being bottled in November 2019.
One of 338 Bottles from a Sherry Butt, Ref DL13727, Distilled May 2004 and bottled November 2019.
Official Tasting Notes:
Nose: A leathery sweetness alongside raisins, sticky figsand brown sugar
Palate: Lots of rich cocoa / mocha with spices, treacle and a touch of vanilla
Finish: Long deliciousness with hot chocolate, stewed fruits and marmalade
Ideal to be paired with Speyside Chocolate from Chocisky.
Distilled at Glenrothes, and bottled by Douglas Laing in their Old Particular Range.
