High Coast Hav Oak Spice

This is HAV from High Coast Distillery. At a latitude of 63° N - they are one of the wrolds most northerly whisky distilleries.

Translated as ‘Sea’, Hav is a blend of 20% peated, 80% non-peated malt whisky. The whisky was aged in pre-matured in 40-litre casks in virgin American, Hungarian and Swedish oak for 3-4 months before transferred into bourbon barrels for 3-4 years to create its spicy and unorthodox flavours.

This lightly peated, single malt whisky was matured in virgin oak and first fill bourbon casks with the finest High Coast spirit. Have a sip. Feel the warmth of their bright summers and the cold of their dark, frozen winters.
