Details
This was supposed to be a hogshead, it wasn't. they know it's a barrique, but that is all. It's a pleasant surprise though even for bottlers inherently wary of red wine casks!
Label is a random pattern as this was a random cask.
Why they picked it, love a bit of dirty dunnage whisky and this does the trick. They have an email, of an email, cc'd into another email that says they can probably make this distillery rather than make it a secret Orkney as well.
