Highland Park Hillhead Keystone Series Release Part 5

The fifth and final release in Highland Park’s Keystone Series, focusing on the role of harmonisation.

For each batch, the Master Whisky Maker selects and combines multiple casks before re-casking the whisky to rest, allowing the flavours to integrate. For this release, three first-fill casks were chosen: European oak sherry, American oak sherry and American oak bourbon, highlighting the impact of this marrying process.

Named “Hillhead” after the distillery’s location in Kirkwall, where Highland Park’s production elements come together.
