Ichiro's Malt & Grain World Blended Whisky

This is a complex and harmonious whisky that has been blended by Ichiro Akuto, owner of the famous Chichibu Distillery in Japan. In addition to whiskies from Chichibu Distillery, this blend also uses whiskies from America, Canada, Scotland, and Ireland to create a perfectly balanced and expressive whisky.

Ichiro’s Malt & Grain World Blended Whisky is created by Ichiro Akuto, one of the most well-known whisky blenders from Japan. Whilst the heart of this whisky is from Chichibu, Ichiro wanted to incorporate other styles of whisky from all over the globe to create this incredibly elegant dram. Whiskies from Ireland give stone fruit characters; spicy notes come from Canada; sweet vanilla from America; and malt character from Scotland - all blended together with the elegance and harmony expected from Japanese whiskies.

This whisky displays notes of malted barley, apples, and subtle cinnamon. The palate showcases notes of honey and stone fruits with a touch of vanilla, before finishing with pears and a whisper of milk chocolate.
