The Whisky Cellar is an Edinburgh-based independent Scotch Whisky bottler, selecting casks from its private stock at the peak of their character.
Bottled a parcel of several single casks at a time, each individual series under their Private Cellars Selection label is studiously chosen to deliver a wide spectrum of natural colour, aroma and flavour.
This whisky was aged for 24 years in an American Oak Barrel, distilled in February 1996 and bottled in August 2020. This cask bottling exudes all the delicate creamy-sweet greatness of Single Grain displaying notes of creme caramel, toasted marshmallow and whipped cream.
