Isle of Raasay Distillery Special Release, Rye & Sherry Double Cask

Their annual distillery special release is a demonstration of their desire to push the boundaries of Raasay single malt flavour further and to give you a taste of something different to their signature distillery style.

Following the introduction of their flagship Isle of Raasay Single Malt Scotch whisky earlier this year, and the deconstructed Na Sia Single Cask Bottlings that followed, they wanted to bring you something different to celebrate their first full year of whisky on Raasay. Their first ever sherry cask whisky.

Matured first in the strong foundations of their ex-rye whiskey casks and finished in a combination of ex-Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry quarter casks, this whisky boasts hints of peppery spice, almond, nuts and sweet fruit.

Floral notes along with nutmeg and clove. The perfect festive accompaniment.
