Wood smoke and medicinal flavours. Rich dark fruits then light citrus lemon and orange.
Remarkably viscous, peat smoke with dark fruits, sultanas and creamy toffee.
It has a long finish, eventually the peat recovers, leaving a clean lingering aftertaste.

Kilchoman Distillery was founded in 2005 and was the first distillery to be built on Islay in 124 years. It is a farm distillery and a proportion of the barley used in production is grown and malted at the distillery.
Kilchoman is one of the smalled distilleries in Scotland producing 90 fto 100,000 litres of alcogol per year. Kilchoman spirit is filled into a combination of fresh bourbon barrels fromn Buffalo Trace Distillery, Kentucky, USA and fresh oloros sherry butts direct from Spain. This is the first malt released from Kilchoman Distillery and had been aged for 3 years in fresh bourbon barrels and finished for 5 months in oloroso sherry butts.
