Lagavulin 8 Year Old 200th Anniversary
Details
Crafted to mark the 200th anniversary of Lagavulin’s founding by John Johnston in 1816, this eight-year-old expression delivers bold, smoky character balanced by a touch of sweet spice, especially when a splash of water is added. Drawing inspiration from Alfred Barnard’s 1880s visit to the distillery, where he sampled an “exceptionally fine” eight-year-old whisky, this release pays homage to Lagavulin’s rich heritage and longstanding tradition of excellence.
