Loch Lomond 12 Year Old Louis Oosthuizen Limited Edition

Loch Lomond Distillery are excited to partner with Louis Oosthuizen to create this 12 year old limited edition single malt in celebration of Louis becoming the Champion Golfer at St Andrews in 2010. In the year of the 150th Open, returning to the Home of Golf, they have bottled a Single Malt that was distilled and filled into casks in 2010, the year of Louis' victory at St Andrews.

The spirit chosen for this expression was distilled in 2010 and is a combination of four spirit styles from their unique straight neck pot stills and more traditional swan neck stills to create an expression with the signature style of fruit, honey and soft smoke that is only found in Loch Lomond Single Malt Whisky.

Bottled at 46% and non chill filtered ensures a rich mouthfeel and boundless length of finish.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: Fresh and fruity, with crisp green apple, peach and honey aromas

Taste: A burst of peach and pear are met with layers of vanilla sweetness and creamy fudge

Finish: Long finish with gentle wood smoke and a lingering tang
