The Tasting Notes
Nose
Rancio, wood oil, machine oils, hessian, damp clay, berry compote, cranberry juice, and fruit leather.
Palate
Oily and savoury with black mustard seed, bruised apple, lime cordial, star anise, and fresh tarragon.
Finish
Long and funky, with wholegrain mustard, tart unripe berries, and earthy wet clay.

This Old Rhosdhu single malt from Loch Lomond Distillery was distilled in 1994 and bottled at 32 years old by Thompson Bros. One of only 155 bottles. This whisky was rested for two years in a Madeira Quarter Cask and bottled in 2026 with natural colour and without chill filtration.
