The Tasting Notes
Nose
Toasted brioche, pear compote, ripe peach, boiled sweets, Jelly Babies, vanilla custard, and green ginger wine.
Palate
Toasted oak, charred French Fancy, fruit sweets, caramelised banana, and salty grape and melon skins.
Finish
Long and slightly dry, with lingering salinity and tannic fruit skins.

This Lochlea single malt was distilled in 2020 and bottled at 6 years old by Thompson Bros. One of only 248 bottles from a 1st Fill Barrel #88. This release was bottled in 2026 with natural colour and without chill filtration.
