Lochlea Harvest Edition Third Crop (2024)

Over the past few years, our seasonal small batch releases have showcased the signature Lochlea style in four different ways. As a working farm, these expressions tie-in with exactly what is happening here at that time of year.

Harvest Edition (Third Crop) is the second in a new and final set of four limited editions, marking the end of our Seasonal trilogy. This whisky has been double matured in refill bourbon barrels and port hogsheads, alongside an oloroso sherry butt, offering a different take on the sweet, summery flavour profile associated with the Harvest trilogy. With the spirit another year older, expect rich dessert notes upfront balanced by savoury black pepper on the finish.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: Bright red grapes, fresh strawberry jam and clotted cream
Palate: Sweeter notes of baked apple pie and white chocolate
Finish: Beautifully balanced, with savoury notes of cracked black pepper.
