Longrow 18 Year Old - 2017 Release

A 2017 version of this Limited release for the peated 18 Year Old Longrow.

Matured in - 60% Refill Sherry 40% Fresh Bourbon

One of 4500 bottles.

Tasting notes...
Nose - It’s very sweet; pear drops and light marshmallows. Roasted pine nuts and creme brûlée followed by a very buttery cheesecake base with a soft liquorice note.
Palate - The sweetness continues on the palate; with hard boiled toffee sweets, caramelised sugar, sticky toffee pudding, nougat and fresh cream with hints of charred embers.
Finish Lovely and rich: dark chocolate followed by coffee beans, liquorish, viennese whirls. This is rounded off with the signature Longrow notes of coastal sea salt flavours and gentle smokiness.
