Macallan 18 Year Old, the 2019 Edition, a trinity of spirits, matured individually in sherry seasoned European oak casks, sherry seasoned American oak casks and ex-bourbon American oak casks, then expertly married together to create an exotic single malt with orange, velvety cocoa and wood spice flavours.
Whisky Maker's tasting notes:
Colour - Light amber.
Aroma - Exotic dried petals with coconut and vanilla orange citrus.
Palate - Soft and velvety with orange citrus, vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon.
Finish - Lingering with chocolate orange and a hint of wood smoke.
Ideal to be paired with Speyside Chocolate from Chocisky.
