LBD are big fans of the Scandinavian distilling scene and of Mackmyra in particular.
Distilled in the former Mackmyra Distillery, before they built their mega modern gravity distillery. Matured for the full duration in a former ore mine, 50 metres below ground.
Filled 07/08/2008, disgorged 15/12/2020 and sent to LBD for bottling.
Tasting notes:
Nose – Peach melba ice cream, pencil shavings, fresh juniper.
Palate – Salted caramel, pineapple salsa, like a Swedish bourbon.
Finish – Chilli chocolate, the proper fancy stuff.
