Decadent Drinks have done it again, another 1st fill sherry hogshead of everyone’s favourite Speyside behemoth: ‘The Marketing Malt’.
Distilled in 2008 and aged for 16 years in sherry wood and bottled with a fair bit of reduction down to a sensible and sessionable 53%.
This is a big, spicy, chocolatey, modern sherry cask dram, but an excellent example of that style, with some elegant fruitiness to add balance.
One of only 349 Bottles available.
We love the 'Marketing Vortex' on the label, alluding to 'that' distillery in Speyside, and along with the 'please recycle your old marketing here - refills and replicas all accepted'
