The Tasting Notes
Nose
Warmed honey, candied hazelnuts and molasses, with crystallised ginger, mocha and mānuka honey.
Palate
Butterscotch, orange zest and crystallised ginger, followed by honeycomb, plum syrup and candied hazelnuts.
Finish
Dried red berries, cinnamon and salted caramel on the finish.

Meikle Toir The Turbo uses the heart of the distillate: the spirit cut with the highest phenol content. Combined with mainland peat and a lengthy fermentation period, this produces a whisky with an amplified smoky identity and full-bodied character.
The 2026 Edition brings together American virgin oak, Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, delivering a powerful peat influence with a phenol level of 71 PPM.
