The Tasting Notes
There is a complex nose, very characterful. Fruit cake, rum'n'raisin ice cream. Baked bananas with fudge sauce with vanilla and a deeper note of syrupy gingerbread, with hints of orange zest.
The taste has a chocolatey hint initially. Rich and full, bursting with the sweet toffee, fudge and tropical fruit flavours from the nose.
The texture is very generous, rounded by the oak.

A specialist Italian importer, blender and bottler, Moon Import was founded in 1980 by Pepi Mongiardino.
