This is their seventh bottling of Notable Age Statements and it contains a 1972 single cask of Bas Armagnac from Chateau De Gaube, bottled at natural cask strength and 50 years of age.
This is the sibling cask to their Armagnac Sponge Edition 2 and also the last of these casks in Grosperrin’s cellars. They are in love with this Armagnac, stunningly fresh, vibrant, fruity and still showing amazing potency and richness after so many years in wood. Expect an avalanche of ripe and dried fruits of many shades and variety, along with a whole beehive of honey and a big sloppy smooch of rancio!
