Nc'nean Quiet Rebels, Lorna

This year, the whisky has been chosen by their first ever team member, Lorna. Lorna kicked off her career with them keeping all their builders and contractors fed whilst the distillery was in its building phase. Once the distillery was built, there was no question what Lorna would tackle next – she wanted to make their whisky. And so, with Gordon passing on his whisky making skills, that’s what she’s been doing ever since. Lorna is also their most green-fingered distiller, and since day one she has turned their stillhouse into a greenhouse growing tomatoes, courgettes and luffa plants, and has even managed to grow an avocado plant in the highlands of Scotland.

Lorna likes her whisky on the sweeter side, so she's carefully selected a lovely combination of American whiskey casks and ex-Pineau des Charentes casks.
