Details
From the distillery at Brechin which was also called North Port this rare 1977 is now an opulent, fruity-dry 28 year old. Sadly the present small bottling is among the last that will ever bear testimony to the Guthries' skill and care.
Deliciously rich-textured, this opulent natural cask-strength Brechin is sophisticated and subtle. Intensely sweet and fruity on the nose, with a whisp of smoke, it is smooth-bodied, drying gently to a medium-long, fruit and nut finish that lingers agreeably.
Distilled 1977, bottled 2005.
Bottled at natural cask strength.
