North Port Brechin Distillery
About North Port Distillery:
Founded in 1820 under the name Townhead Distillery, it was renamed Brechin Distillery in 1823. In 1825 The Glencadam Distillery was founded close to the North Port and in 1939, to avoid any confusion the distillery was renamed to North Port Distillery. The distillery was closed permanently in 1983.
