The Tasting Notes
Caramel and sweet apple aromas are balanced by fresh and cleansing notes of the sea-shore.
The body is rich and smooth, coating the palate. The taste is sweet, with fruity vanilla toffee, then salty, with pistachio nut.
The finish is long, sweet and savoury, drying to a fine salty-smooth conclusion.

Balancing fresh sweet fruit and crisp sea air, this rare release of a rewarding and rich extra-matured Oban seems to suggest a bracing morning walk through an apple orchard beside the sea. From rejuvenated ex-sherry American oak casks.
