Old Pulteney 2004 Single Cask - The Green Welly Stop Exclusive

Born at Pulteney Distillery this exclusive single cask speaks of its coastal home in the North of Scotland. Distilled in copper pot stills, famed for their unique shape, the spirit in this bottle was then laid down to age slowly in a warehouse beside Wick Harbour.

With each passing year the sea air left its mark, shaping the whisky in the cask to become a pure expression of The Maritime Malt.

Tasting Notes:
Colour: Pale Gold

Aroma: Rich and warming. Captivating vanilla and butterscotch sweetness laced with delicate spices. Fragranced wood and tobacco tones lend a dash of refinement.

Taste: Full-on sweetness softened by mellow hints of toffee and a hint of sea air, calling to mind the Caithness coast. A medium finish with the sweetness of honey and fruits.
