Orkney 14 Year Old, Goldfinch The Kilnsman's Dram

This is a fantastic heather peated Scotch from a famous Orkney Distillery. Released as a cask strength, single malt Scotch whisky, aged for 14 years and matured in a first-fill European oak sherry Hogshead. Deep toffee in colour, this sherry bomb will not disappoint.

Non-chill filtered and entirely natural in colour.
Only 146 bottles were taken from this outstanding cask.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: All toffee and butterscotch with the most delicate hint of smoke meandering through.

Palate: A feast wrapped up inside of a sherry bomb, explosions of vanilla and caramel but with a beautiful peat smoke and gentle balanced warmth.

Finish: Cream with butterscotch opens up to light pepper and floral smoke leaving a sweet taste preparing you for your next sip. Outstanding!
