No water was added by the bottler, though it's likely the spirit was watered in cask, a common practice for Calvados, where water is typically introduced gradually over several years rather than at bottling.
This expression is softer and sweeter, with incredible texture, an exceptional introduction to the quality Pays d’Auge Calvados can offer.
It was Chris’s favourite among the cask picks, which is why two casks were brought back. Choosing just one proved impossible.
