Sweet with smoked fish notes, citrus lemon and charred oak aromas develop.
The palate is smoky with green apples and lime flavours.
The finish is long, sweet and smoky.

Port Ellen is one of three main villages on Islay and of the two ferry terminals on the island. The distillery was founded in 1825 and expanded in the 1960s. In 983 production ceased, however the maltings continued to operate.
This Port Ellen was distilled in 1979 and bottled in 2013 by Gordon & MacPhail.
Only 654 bottles have been produced.
