Douglas Laing’s Rock Oyster is created using the finest maritime Malts including those distilled on the esteemed Islands of Jura, Islay, Arran and Orkney. We now bring you the second Cask Strength Limited Edition bottling. Bottled at 56.1% ABV, this very special Limited Edition delivers a massive amplification of all those coastal qualities from the original Rock Oyster.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Hints of candied citrus fruits with puffs of peat smoke and a sea-salt tang
Palate: Rich and earthy developing to dried seaweed, oat biscuits and orange zest
Finish: Long with sea spray, a gentle smokiness, charred oak and malted barley
Bottled at cask strength, non chill filtered, and natural colour
Exclusively matured in American Oak.
