Spey Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival 2020 59.5%

Internationally, Whisky Festivals have been cancelled, one of these being Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival, which is held annually. In honour of SOSWF, Spey have selected a Limited Edition Single Cask for bottling.

This was indeed originally planned for the SOSWF 2020 and in honour of such, they decided to proceed with bottling and release this limited edition, as detailed below.

Non Chill filtered and non-coloured
Cask Strength 59.5%
Limited release of only 300 bottles
Bottled April 2020
Distilled - 19th January 2015.

The cask was selected from the 'house/signature' Speyside Distillery Single malt casks
100% matured in bourbon casks

Tasting notes
Colour - Pale gold, white wine appearance.
Nose - A light nose, fruity base, honey with developing floral notes and apple blossom
Palate - A light texture, with a sweet start leading to crisp acidity and notes of scented sweets, with a finish of white chocolate.
Finish - An elegant, feminine aroma
