Speyburn 12 Year Old - Flora & Fauna
Details
The rarest bottling in the range of Flora and Fauna.
The reason of the rarity of the Speyburn bottling is because United Distillers sold the distillery to Inverhouse in the very early days of this range.
From the label:
Speyburn is an unusually compact distillery. Owing to its hilly location, on the outskirts of Rothes. It comprises buildings two and three storeys high. Established in 1897, it was the first malt distillery to install a mechanical maltting system consisting of rotating drums. Water from the Granty Burn is used to produce this light, sweet single malt scotch whisky with an oak finish.
Distilled at Speyburn Distillery - (United Distillers - now Diageo).
Condition - Smudges to label as seen in image.
