Once again, another stunning 1966 distillation of Speymalt Macallan, a nigh on 49 Year Old Macallan.

Tasting notes.
Colour - Mahogany.
Nose - Rich Sherry influences with stewed pear, green apple and cinnamon aromas. A delicate menthol note with a touch of beeswax polish.
Palate - Cracked black pepper initially with orange, lemon zest and dark chocolate flavours. Complimented by a subtle charred oak edge.
Body - Full.
Finish - Long, smooth, with citrus flavours.
Cask type - 1st Fill Sherry Butt.
