Half a year in a first-fill PX sherry hogshead adds great depth, with stewed raisins among its simmering fruits. Robust sweetness and subtle woody notes are also gifted by the barrel.

After six months in first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry hogsheads, this light, fruity Speyside single malt has acquired a gorgeous umber colour. Scents of toffee, baked figs, rich raisins.
