Construction of Speyside Distillery wasn't completed until 1987, and the first spirit didn't come off the stills until 1990. It is currently producing a modest 600,000 litres of alcohol a year.

Tasting notes...
Nose - Bruised apples; sherried cherries and cut grass.
Palate - Bakewell tart with flaked almonds and ripe fruit.
Finish - Mouth coating with rich cherries
