Starward New World Malt Whisky

A new name on the block here in the UK, STARWARD - coming all the way from Australia.

Produced using bespoke 100% malted Australian Barley.
Australian Apera (formerly Sherry) cask maturation individually selected and re-coopered to take advantage of the highly variable Melbourne climate. Some of the barrels used are over 55 years of age.

Notes:
Colour - Rich amber.
Nose - Aroma of ripe orchard fruits - pears, bananas and apples with vinous raisins and dried figs. Caramel, vanilla and marzipan balance the bright fruit.
Palate - The palate is filled with rich, toasty caramel, creme brulee, more fruit, pepper, sandalwood, nutmeg and marzipan.
Finish - A full, sweet, juicy mouthfeel, with a youthful, spicy, dry finish.
