Details
Tamdhu matured in American oak has a wonderfully distinctive profile - it's noticeably different from their European oak maturations. Quercus Alba has a tight grain, ideal for crafting quality casks. The oloroso shery then modifies and seasons the toasted oak before the cask's long journey to Tamdhu, where their new-make spirit is filled. Over time, the combination of casks and spirit imparts vanilla and rich fruit flavours, along with a wonderfully natural amber colour.
