Following on from the highly successful Scallywag Blended malt, we have Timorous Beastie from Douglas Laing.

A small batch Highland Vatted malt is bottled at 46.8% and without colouring or chill-filtration.

Created using only the finest Highland Malts, the result is overridingly sweet initially on the nose, then warming to floral, light barley & spicy honey'd tones.
The palate opens in a spicy style – now fructiferous, mellow, sugary and raisin-fudge-y in style.
The finish is subtle yet sweet – detect a soft cough drop camphor / oaky hint plus milky cereals & late meringue.

Inspired by Robert Burns' famous Scots poem 'To a Mouse', this Timorous Beastie Small Batch Highland Vatted Malt is overflowing with a spicy, Highland heather, honey character – perhaps more stout hearted than faint hearted!
