Tomatin 36 Year Old Edition is an exceptional dram with incredible complexity. With aromas of baked fruits, from brandied pear to spiced mango chutney, a hint of leather balsam makes way for blackcurrant and toffee, walnut and crystalised ginger. A waxy mouthfeel develops on the palate, full of deep forest fruit preserves with notes of spiced plum jam and glace cherry. The depth of this whisky reflected by a long and well-rounded finish. A very special dram indeed.
Gently matured in a combination of first fill Spanish Oloroso sherry butts and traditional oak casks for over thirty six years.
Natural colour and non chill filtered.
